There was good news for casinos in New Jersey, as the state’s legislation approved a bill, which will give permission to some of them for operating beach bars.
With this bill, the casino, which has opened following August 31, 2011, is going to be allowed to open beach bars. However, the bill is still pending to be approved by Governor Christie.
If this bill is approved by the governor, online casinos will also have a hope to get a nod from him after couple of years of struggle. Considering the fact that February deadline for giving his stand on the online casino issue is not far off, this news could not have come off at a better time.
Meanwhile, in Madera County, the federal judge has refused for issuing temporary injunction blocking on a casino proposed in the county.
“Stand Up for California”, opposing group in this case, were up against the casino, which was proposed by the North Fork Rancheria. It is believed that the casino has been planned to cover a huge 305-acre site. It will be built on the city’s North West outskirts.
